Borbh is the Gaelic name for the township of Borve, by Portree, on the Hebridean Island of Skye, Scotland.

 

Fàilte gu Borbh ... Welcome to Borve. 

Borbh air An t-Eilean Sgitheanach.

There is at least one township called Borve on each of the Scottish Hebridean Islands:  Skye, Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra.

The gaelic name varies but my Borve has... and always will be Borbh ! as my Mother and Father would say ...tha sinn bho Borbh.

Borbh is located 4 miles from  Portree, on the Isle of Skye.
